Studio de Castro is a branding & graphic design studio in Northeast Los Angeles. We help organizations define and shape their brand into strategic communications. The studio strives for thoughtful design solutions that are both strategic and uncluttered, with a focus on purpose driven projects and seeks collaborators who share the same ethos.

May de Castro is founder and designer who runs the small shop with big ideas. May received her BFA in Graphic Design from the well-regarded design program at California State University, Long Beach and has a passion for work that contributes to the greater good. She has overseen the designs and brand development for notable clients that include the ASPCA, Frank Gehry Partners, Keck Medicine, UCLA Health, USC, United Way, Walt Disney Concert Hall, and World Vision International. She believes in giving back to the community and has volunteered for various non-profits focused on the underserved communities of LA, served on the Board of Directors for AIGA LA, and was an Activate Cultural Fellow for ARTS for LA, representing her hometown of Highland Park, advocating for equality through the arts.

When not her in studio, there is a good chance you will find her crushing her forehand on one of LA’s tennis courts, volunteering, or boarding a flight to one of many destinations on her bucket list.

Services range from brand development & identity; to print, digital, environmental, social, and motion designs. Contact us to see more of our work or would like to collaborate on your next idea. We would love to meet you.
