LMU CFA Calendar of Events

The dean of the College of Communication & Fine Arts (CFA) wanted a dynamic way to present the departments events calendar as well an indicator on each spread to inform the viewer of what section they were currently in. The challenge was it needed to be presented in two sections, by date than by department. In order for there to be cohesion between the two, we used a color coded system that represented each department, i.e. green for Theatre Arts, and used those colors to represent each event  or date depending on which department it was tied to. The color coding was further highlighted by incorporating the a band of color on the edge of each spread.
