Collaborating with the marketing director, we were tasked with creating a solution to help organize research and insights on improving leadership within SCE’s internal teams. The in-house team was overwhelmed by the sheer volume of data and struggled to synthesize and present it effectively. After conducting interviews with key stakeholders, we defined the goal: developing a journal-style tool to guide users in improving their interactions with colleagues. The tool was driven by a series of questions and surveys, with responses aggregated into an internal document, enabling users to track their progress. As a result, 85% of participants reported a clearer understanding of how to engage with their teams, and senior management recognized it as a valuable tool for reinforcing internal culture, leading to a 20% increase in employee engagement scores within six months.
