Challenge:
To rebrand one of USC’s signature events that would target a more inclusive and younger demographic.

Art directed, designed, and developed the brand identity for the USC Alumni Association (USCAA) Annual Women’s Conference 2023. The new identity was crafted to present a modern, inclusive look that would resonate with all demographics, especially those identifying as women. The aim was to move away from stereotypical representations of women—such as faces, hairstyles, or eyelashes—featured in previous designs. Instead, we chose bright, fresh colors to create a modern vibe, with a sunburst symbolizing empowerment. Words of empowerment were also selected and used throughout the promotional materials. The event was awarded a 2024 CASE Best of District VII for Branding.
